Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Vamp ("we," "us") collects through the Vamp app and website (the "Service"), and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Device information: a device identifier and device name for each Mac you activate the app on, used solely to enforce the 5-device limit on your account.
- Billing information: your subscription plan and status. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: standard request logs (e.g. IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
We do notcollect or have visibility into your third-party IPTV provider credentials or viewing activity beyond what's necessary to load the channel list you configure — that traffic goes directly between the app and your chosen IPTV provider, not through our servers.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above to: operate your account and enforce the device limit; process billing through Stripe; send account-related emails (e.g. password resets); maintain the security of the Service; and respond to support requests.
3. Third-party service providers
We rely on the following processors to operate the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. password reset links).
- Neon / Vercel — database and application hosting.
Each of these providers only receives the data necessary to perform its function.
4. Cookies
The website uses a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at [email protected] to make a request.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (password hashing, encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
